Using Robotics to assist Finger MotionCurtin University
Are you healthy and between the ages of 10 and 16?
Do you want to help in the development of new technology for rehabilitation?
Our research is developing a wearable robot that assists finger motion. Because this is a newly developed device, we want to find out how well it works with you wearing the robot.
This study forms part of a research project conducted within the Department of Mechanical Engineering. We will perform two sessions at your home with your parents’ permission, with each session taking about one hour of your time. During each session, you will be asked to play games with the robot assisting you to move your fingers. After playing the games you will then get the chance to tell us what you think of the robot and the games.
Participation is voluntary and you can withdraw your consent at any point.
